F.A.Q
The UPL (User Protection Level) was created by Electro-Ppjp. It helps you quickly understand and recognize the electrical protection provided to the user. There are four Electro-Pjp UPL :
: the best: protection against dangerous voltage and no live parts accessible to touch (compliance with international standard IEC61010-031 / IEC61010-1 and Low Voltage Directive) (International IEC60529 – IP2X protection and US NEMA 250 – NEMA 1 protection).
: Most common for probe bodies: protection against dangerous voltages (in accordance with international standard IEC61010-031/ IEC61010-1 and the Low Voltage Directive).
: economical alternative to High UPL: no protection against dangerous voltages but no live part accessible to the touch (33 V~ / 70 Vcontinus max.) (International IEC60529 – IP2X protection and US NEMA 250 – NEMA 1 protection).
: no protection against dangerous voltages (33 V~ / 70 Vcontinus max.).Â
