The UPL (User Protection Level) is made up by Electro-PJP. It helps you to quickly understand and recognize the electrical protection provided to the user. There are four Electro-PJP's UPL :
: the best one : protection against hazardous voltage and no energized part accessible to fingers (compliance with IEC61010-031 / IEC61010-1 international standard and Low Voltage Directive) (compliance with IEC60529 – IP2X protection, and American NEMA standard No. 250 – approximately NEMA 1 protection).
: the most current for probe bodies : protection against hazardous voltages (compliance with IEC61010-031 / IEC61010-1 international standard and Low Voltage Directive).
: the economical alternative against High UPL : no protection against hazardous voltages but no energized part accessible to fingers (33 V AC / 70 V DC maxi.) (compliance with IEC60529 – IP2X protection, and American NEMA standard No. 250 – approximately NEMA 1 protection).
: no protection against hazardous voltages (33 V AC / 70 V DC maxi.).
